What does the end of no overtaking sign mean in Turkey?
Last updated: 28 October 2026 · Sign code: TT-34a · Prohibitory and restrictive signs

In short: The end of no overtaking sign means the overtaking ban set by an earlier sign has ended. It is a white circle showing two cars crossed by grey diagonal lines.
What should you do when you see this sign?
- After this sign you may overtake if the road, visibility and traffic allow.
- Before overtaking, check traffic ahead and behind and signal.
- General overtaking bans (hilltops, bends, junctions) always apply.
Where and why is it used?
White circles with grey diagonal lines mark the end of a restriction. This sign only ends the overtaking ban; other restrictions such as a speed limit stay in force.
Red-bordered white circle Ban or limit a manoeuvre. The rule starts where the sign stands. "No entry for …" signs without a red diagonal line still ban entry.
